Website copywriting

Who writes the words for my website

Somebody writes the words on your website, so a customer can tell what you do and rings you.

You get pages that say what you sell, who it is for, and what to do next. Each page is priced on its own, so you can start with the two that matter.

Why is website copywriting charged per page

Words are countable, so charging by the page keeps it honest; you know what you are buying before any of it is written. It starts with a short conversation about what you sell, who buys it, and the questions people ask you on the phone. Those questions usually become the headings, because if somebody says it out loud they will type it into Google as well. Each page gets written so the answer sits near the top, the reason to ring you sits where you stop reading, and the words people search for turn up in places that still read normally. You choose which pages get done. Your home page and your busiest service page earn their keep first, and the rest can wait until they are worth doing. What lands with you is finished text, yours to use, ready to paste in or hand to whoever runs the site.

Questions people actually ask

Is this a monthly thing

No. You buy the pages you want written and that is the end of it. If you want somebody writing for you every month, that is a job for our sister studio, Distinctive.

Will it still sound like me

That is the aim. You get asked how you talk to customers on the phone, and the words come back in that voice, minus the bits only you understand.

Do I need every page rewriting

Rarely. Two or three pages bring in most of the enquiries, so start with those and see what happens. The rest can wait until they are worth the money.

What will it cost

Depends what you want, so ask. Ring 01823 242424 or email info@reor.co.uk, tell us what you need, and you get a price. One job, one price, done.
