Small business websites
What does a website actually need to do?
Load fast on a phone, say what you do, and make it obvious how to ring you. Most of the rest is decoration.
You get a site built as one job, at one price, that you can edit yourself afterwards. You own the files and the logins at the end.
What you walk away with
A site that works on a phone first, because that’s where almost everyone will see it. Pages that say what you do and where you do it, in the words your customers use rather than the words the industry uses. A phone number that dials when tapped. A contact form that reaches you and not a spam folder. Logins and a short walkthrough, so changing your prices or adding a photo takes about a minute and costs nothing. And the files, which are yours. Plenty of people arrive here paying monthly for a site they don’t own and can’t move, which is how a cheap website becomes an expensive one over five years. Ask any web company whether you own the site outright before you sign, and treat a pause as a no. It is the single most useful question you can ask one.
| Reor | A monthly website deal | |

Questions people actually ask
How many pages do I need
Fewer than you think. What you do, who you are, proof you’ve done it, and how to get hold of you covers most trades and small firms.
Do I need to write the words
Only if you want to. Copywriting can be part of the job, and it’s usually better if we interview you and write it than if you stare at a blank page for three weeks.
What about hosting
Available if you want it, separate and optional. You can host it wherever you like.
What will it cost
Depends what you want, so ask. Ring 01823 242424 or email info@reor.co.uk, tell us what you need, and you get a price. One job, one price, done.
