Google review setup
How do I get more Google reviews
The asking gets set up once, properly, and then you run it yourself. Nothing to pay every month.
You get a short review link, something to hand a customer, and words that work when you ask. Your Google profile gets tidied at the same time, so the link lands where it should.
What does a Google review setup actually give me
Reviews come from asking, and hardly anybody asks properly. The job finishes, everybody is pleased, and then nothing happens, because the moment passes and an email a fortnight later feels like homework. So it starts with your Google profile, making sure it is claimed, correct, and sitting behind a short link that opens straight on the review box instead of sending people hunting. That link then goes on a card, a sticker in the van, a code on the invoice, wherever your customers already are. Then there are the words, which matter more than any of it. Asking face to face, in a sentence that sounds like you, beats a polite paragraph nobody reads. You also get a calm way to answer a bad one without making it worse. After that it is yours to run, with nothing to renew.
Questions people actually ask
Somebody left me a bad one, what now
Reply once, politely, in public, and offer to sort it off the page. Anyone reading judges the reply more than the complaint, and a shop with only glowing reviews looks fixed anyway.
Can you get the bad ones taken down
Mostly no, and anyone promising otherwise is guessing. Google only removes reviews that break its own rules, so those get reported properly and the rest get answered.
Do I need to buy software for this
Not for a small firm. A link, a card, and the habit of asking will do more than a monthly subscription, which is why this is set up once and left in your hands.
What will it cost
Depends what you want, so ask. Ring 01823 242424 or email info@reor.co.uk, tell us what you need, and you get a price. One job, one price, done.
