Website accessibility audit

Can more people actually use my website

Someone goes through your website, finds what stops people using it, and hands you a list worth fixing.

You get a plain list of what is broken and what to do about it. Fix the top of that list and more people get through to buying without ringing you up confused.

What does a one off accessibility audit actually check

Plenty of small business websites are hard to use for reasons the owner never sees. Pale grey text on white, a menu that only works with a mouse, buttons too small for a thumb, forms that fail without saying which box is wrong. A check goes through the site the way an awkward visitor would: keyboard only, text blown up, screen reader talking, and on a phone in bright sun. What comes back is a list in plain words, sorted by what is costing you customers rather than by what was easiest to write down. Most sites have a handful of problems doing nearly all of the damage, and they are usually quick to put right. You can hand the list to whoever built the site, or the fixes can be done here instead. Either way you get told what matters and what can safely wait.

Questions people actually ask

Does this matter if my site is quite new

New does not mean usable. Plenty of smart looking sites fall down on faint text and menus that need a mouse, simply because nobody ever sat and checked.

Can you fix it or only tell me what is wrong

Either. Some people want the list to pass to whoever built the site, others want it put right for them. Say which suits you and the job gets priced that way.

Will it change how my website looks

Mostly not. Stronger contrast, clearer labels, and buttons that behave tend to make a site look tidier rather than worse. Nothing gets redesigned behind your back.

What will it cost

Depends what you want, so ask. Ring 01823 242424 or email info@reor.co.uk, tell us what you need, and you get a price. One job, one price, done.
