Presentation folder design

Is a printed folder worth it for quotes

A folder that holds your quote, your certificates, and a card, and looks like you meant to hand it over.

You get the folder drawn to the cutter’s exact shape, printed, glued, and delivered flat or made up. Pockets, business card slits, and spine width all get sorted before anything goes near a press.

What does presentation folder design have to get right

Most of the work is invisible, and it’s the part that stops the folder going wrong. Every folder is cut from one flat shape, so the artwork has to be drawn onto that shape, with fold lines, glue tabs, and pocket depth all in the right place before anything prints. Get the pocket wrong and your paperwork slides out on the customer’s kitchen table. Get the card too thin and the whole thing sags the first time it holds a survey and a set of terms. Thick paperwork needs a spine, which changes that flat shape again. Lamination counts too: matt looks smart and marks easily, gloss hides fingerprints and bounces the light about. A slit for your business card is worth adding, because your number gets kept when the rest of it goes in a drawer. Say what’s going inside, and the shape gets built around that.

Questions people actually ask

Can you print the stuff that goes inside it

Yes. Letterheads, inserts, and price sheets can be printed to match the folder, and it stays one job rather than you chasing two companies who blame each other.

What if I only want a few

Ask anyway. Small runs get printed a different way to big ones, and the sensible number depends on how fast you hand them out, so say so and you’ll get a straight answer.

Do you need my logo in a special format

The original artwork if you’ve got it, a decent PDF if you haven’t. Folders are big, so a small logo pulled off a website looks rough once it’s scaled up.

What will it cost

Depends what you want, so ask. Ring 01823 242424 or email info@reor.co.uk, tell us what you need, and you get a price. One job, one price, done.
