What can you do with cheap large format printing

Large format just means printed on a wide machine rather than an office printer, and that opens up sizes which are awkward everywhere else. Posters for a window or a noticeboard. Boards for a site fence. Panels for an exhibition stand. Graphics stuck straight onto glass. What it’s printed on matters as much as what’s on it. Paper is fine indoors and cheap to swap when the offer changes. Foamex is a light rigid board that won’t flop about when you lean it somewhere. Correx takes a cable tie and a wet field without complaining. The usual sticking point is the file, because a photo grabbed off a phone screen looks sharp on the phone and turns to mush blown up across a board. Send whatever you’ve got and you’ll be told honestly whether it stands up printed large.

What’s the biggest you can go

Bigger than most people need. Width is set by the roll, length far less so, and anything wider than the machine gets split into panels that line up together on the wall.

Will it survive outdoors

On the right material, yes. Correx and foamex are made for being outside in the weather. Paper posters belong behind glass or on an indoor wall, so say where it’s going.

Can you finish it ready to fix up

Yes. Boards can come with the holes drilled, posters can be laminated so they don’t curl, and vinyl arrives ready to apply. Tell us how it’s being fixed and the finish suits it.
